Is WiFi Weave really a free WiFi planner?
Yes. The preview on this page needs no account. The free plan needs an email but no credit card: 2 floor plans, wall drawing, the full device library, a signal-strength heatmap and 3 AI planning runs for wall detection and access point placement. Twelve free WiFi calculators need no account either.
What does the free plan not include?
Unlimited AI runs, the extra coverage layers (SNR, data rate, capacity, interference), channel optimization, requirement compliance, survey import and the full reports are on Pro. A 7-day Pro trial with no card is one click inside the planner.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux or a tablet.
Can I plan a home network with it?
Yes. A photo of a hand-drawn plan is enough. Most home and small-office designs finish inside the free allowance.
How is this different from a WiFi heatmap app on my phone?
A phone app measures what exists. A planner predicts what a design will do before anything is bought or mounted, and the planner can import those phone measurements afterwards to validate the design.
