WiFi design software that places the access points for you
Import the floor plan, let the AI detect the walls and propose the access points, check coverage on every band, and hand over a report with the AP schedule and bill of materials. In the browser, from $0.

In the free planner
- Draw walls or detect them automatically from the drawing
- AI places the access points for you

Free account: 2 floor plans, 3 AI runs. 7-day Pro trial, no card.
The design workflow
- 1
Import the floor plan
PNG, JPG or PDF drawings, DXF/DWG CAD files with their real units, or an Ekahau project. Set the scale from one known distance.
- 2
Model the walls
Automatic wall detection reads the partitions off the drawing; each material (drywall, concrete, glass, brick, metal, wood) carries its own attenuation.
- 3
Place the access points
Click "Design it for me" and the AI planner proposes count and positions for a coverage target, or place real AP models by hand with antenna patterns and aim.
- 4
Check the design
Signal strength, SNR, data rate, capacity, co-channel interference and secondary coverage across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz. Compare scenarios and check against a requirement profile.
- 5
Hand it over
Branded PDF or PowerPoint with the AP schedule, bill of materials and installation notes; CSV channel plans for the controller; share links for clients.
What it does
Predictive heatmaps
Six coverage layers, per band, recomputed as you move an AP.
Wall attenuation
Six materials with editable dB values; walls drawn, imported from CAD or detected by AI.
AI auto planner
Minimises AP count for a coverage and capacity target, or fills a fixed count.
Channel optimization
Non-overlapping channel and power plan for every AP, exported for Cisco/Aruba controllers.
Requirement compliance
Office, voice, high-density and custom profiles; lists every area that fails.
Survey validation
Import walk-test measurements and see predicted vs measured on the same plan.
Device library
Real AP models from Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Meraki and more, plus custom models.
Team features
Share links, comments and version history on the MSP plan.

Questions
What is WiFi design software?
Software that predicts how a wireless network will perform before it is built. You give it a floor plan and the wall materials, choose access point models and positions, and it calculates signal strength, SNR, data rate and interference for every point on the plan. The output is a design package: where each AP goes, what channel and power it uses, and what to order.
How does WiFi Weave compare to Ekahau or Hamina?
It covers the predictive design workflow — floor plans, walls, AP placement, heatmaps, channel planning, reports — in the browser at a fraction of the price, with AI doing the wall tracing and first placement. It does not include survey hardware or spectrum analysis. See the detailed comparison on the Ekahau alternative page.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes, twice over. The preview on this page needs no account. The free plan needs no card and includes 3 AI runs, and a 7-day Pro trial with no card unlocks everything.
Which file formats does it import?
PNG, JPG and PDF images; DXF and DWG CAD drawings (walls and scale are read from the file); Ekahau .esx projects with their floor plans, APs and walls.
Does it work for large sites and multi-floor buildings?
Yes. Plans can be grouped into floors of a building with inter-floor attenuation, and the MSP plan raises the plan limit to 100 for multi-site portfolios.
